Brendan Rodgers on four-man shortlist for PFA Scotland manager of the year award

Celtic’s treble-chasing boss Brendan Rodgers is among the nominees for this season’s PFA Scotland manager of the year award.
Aberdeen boss Derek McInnes, Alan Archibald of Partick Thistle and Morton manager Jim Duffy make up the four-man shortlist, voted for by managers across the country.
Rodgers’ side secured the Ladbrokes Premiership title last month, having captured the Betfred Cup in November, and will look to complete the clean sweep when they take on Aberdeen in the William Hill Scottish Cup final at Hampden Park on May 27.
McInnes is aiming for a third consecutive second-place finish with the Dons and will look to bring the Scottish Cup back to the Granite City for the first time since 1990.
Archibald – the longest-serving manager in the Premiership – has taken the Maryhill club to a top-six finish, the Jags’ highest placing in the new look SPFL set-up.
Duffy is the only Championship manager among the nominees. He has guided the Greenock club to this season’s play-offs and lost out in the Betfred Cup semi-final to Aberdeen.
The winner will be announced on Sunday, May 7 at PFA Scotland’s annual awards dinner at the Hilton Hotel, Glasgow.
