Kane scores four as Spurs smash Leicester

Ruthless Harry Kane struck four goals as Tottenham dismantled Leicester 6-1 at the King Power Stadium
The England forward’s haul moved him two ahead of Romelu Lukaku in the race for the Premier League’s golden boot with 26 goals ahead of Sunday’s season-finale at Hull.
Son Heung-min also scored twice as Spurs continued to shrug off any disappointment following Chelsea’s title win.
Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino: “To be fair when he was injured, other players scored goals, like Son, or (Dele) Alli or (Christian) Eriksen. But it’s true that Harry Kane is our main striker and one of the best in the world. To be fair to him and the team, it’s a very good collective effort throughout the whole season but we feel so proud of Harry. He will have another opportunity to score more against Hull. I hope he can win (the Golden Boot).”
Leicester boss Craig Shakespeare: “The disappointing thing for me when they scored their third is that I didn’t see enough desire from my team and it really drained us of any belief. From then there was only one team in it and they looked like scoring every time and I have to take some responsibility for that. There are no positives. If you get beaten 6-1 there are no positives. They are an excellent side, I knew that before the game, but obviously we were totally second best.”

Son’s strike put Spurs in total control but it was the build-up which caught the eye as Leicester were completely pulled apart.
Mousa Dembele was involved before finding Dele Alli on the edge of the penalty area. Space was still tight but he chipped a pass to Son and the South Korean spun to steer a first-time volley into the bottom corner.
The goal, Son’s 20th of the season, marked the first time three Tottenham players had passed that mark in a season with Alli on 21 and Kane now netting 32.
